Reiki Session Insight: Overcoming Doubt with Guidance
When doubt gets loud, guidance often gets quieter — but stronger.

When Doubt Speaks… and Something Greater Answers
There are moments in sessions that stay with you.
Not because they are dramatic or overwhelming —
but because they are quiet, clear, and deeply meaningful.
This was one of those moments.
Recently, during a Reiki session with a beautiful client, something very simple — yet powerful — came through.
As I worked over her right leg (which often relates to the physical, practical side of life), I became aware of a stream of thoughts moving through her:
What if it doesn’t work?
What if I can’t do this?
What if I say the wrong thing?
What if I become too successful?
What if it’s bigger than me?
It was the voice so many of us know —
the voice of doubt that appears right when we are stepping into something new.
Something that matters.
Something that could change not only our own life… but the lives of others.
And then, just as clearly, another presence came through.
Gentle. Certain. Loving.
A simple response:
What if it does?
This shift in energy was immediate.
Where there had been questioning… there was possibility.
Where there had been hesitation… there was support.
As the session continued, a deeper layer revealed itself.
Over her left leg — often connected to the spiritual and emotional side — there was a strong sense of presence.
Her daughter.
Lauren.
Lauren passed two years ago, and yet in this space, there was no distance — only connection.
What came through was not dramatic or overwhelming.
It was calm. Assured. Loving.
A message that felt simple, but deeply anchoring:
“I’ve got you, Mum.”
There was also a clear sense of guidance around the work my client is being called to do.
She has been exploring creating frequency-based tinctures — something that has been unfolding for her intuitively.
And within the session, there was a very specific nudge:
To create something connected to epilepsy.
To possibly name it Lauren’s Potion.
Not from a place of pressure…
but from a place of purpose.
A way for love to continue moving.
A way for something meaningful to be created from something deeply personal.
What stood out most in this session wasn’t just the messages themselves.
It was the reminder of something we all experience:
That moment where we stand at the edge of something new…
and doubt gets loud.
But also — that we are not navigating that space alone.
Whether you see it as intuition, higher self, loved ones in spirit, or simply a deeper inner knowing…
There is often another voice.
Quieter.
Steadier.
More certain.
The one that asks:
What if it does work?
What if you can do this?
What if this becomes exactly what it’s meant to be?
Sometimes, the work isn’t about removing doubt completely.
It’s about recognising that it’s only one voice in the room.
And choosing which voice we listen to.
