The colour violet relates to your higher consciousness.  Violet is also the colour associated with the crown chakra.

The crown chakra distributes energy to the top of the head area. It also distributes energy to spiritual wisdom, higher consciousness and awareness levels.

To stimulate the crown chakra energy using colour therapy, simply wear a violet hat or beanie.

Now think, just for a minute, what positive outcome you would like violet therapy to achieve. This is how you "Set the intention" of being able to bring your crown chakra back into balance as it helps to shift any stagnant or blocked energy from the crown of the head. 

Just enjoy the experience and relax with a movie if you wish - with the top of your head area covered in violet ;-)
