Waiver

1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in the Reiki Training Immersion is completely voluntary and involves activities such as guided Reiki practice, attunements, chakra work, crystal healing, meditation, sound tools (e.g., drum, chimes), and partner practice on massage tables.
I agree to take part at my own pace and within my own personal physical and emotional limits.

2. Physical Considerations

I understand that some activities may involve gentle movement, standing for short periods, lying on a massage table, learning correct posture for giving Reiki, and interacting with classmates during practical sessions.
I agree to move mindfully, listen to my body, and request assistance whenever needed.

3. Emotional & Energetic Considerations

I understand that Reiki attunements and energy practices can create internal shifts which may continue for days or weeks afterward. This may involve emotional release, increased sensitivity, or other energetic adjustments.
I acknowledge that these are normal experiences during energy work and I agree to seek appropriate self-care and support if needed.

4. Health Information

I confirm that I will disclose any relevant physical, emotional, or psychological conditions, injuries, limitations, or concerns when completing the required registration form prior to the event which will be sent to me via email. I understand that providing accurate information supports my wellbeing and ensures that the facilitator can offer appropriate guidance and safety considerations.

5. Personal Responsibility

I understand that while every effort is made to create a safe and supportive environment, I am responsible for:

Moving safely on steps, uneven surfaces, or unfamiliar environments
Using equipment (massage tables, crystals, sound tools, chairs) appropriately
Setting my own boundaries during partner practice
Communicating if I feel uncomfortable, unwell, or unable to continue
Managing my own physical and emotional capacities

6. Transportation & Optional Carpooling

All participants are responsible for organising their own travel to and from the retreat venue.

As a courtesy, Kelly may pass along carpool interest between participants who voluntarily choose to share transport.
By participating, you understand and agree that:

Kelly does not organise, manage, or supervise any carpooling
Kelly does not assess the safety, driving ability, or reliability of any participant
All transportation arrangements are strictly between participants
Kelly is not liable for any issues, incidents, or accidents that occur during travel or carpooling

If you participate in carpooling, you do so at your own risk.

7. No Medical Claims

I acknowledge that Reiki practitioners and facilitators are not medical professionals.
Reiki, crystal healing, chakra balancing and sound tools are complementary practices and do not replace medical or psychological treatment.

I agree to seek medical advice from qualified practitioners if needed.

8. Assumption of Risk

I understand that, as with any group activity, there is a small inherent risk of physical or emotional discomfort.
By participating, I accept these risks and agree that I am personally responsible for my choices, wellbeing, and level of participation.

9. Personal Belongings

I understand that I am responsible for my own personal belongings at all times.

10. Respectful Behaviour

I agree to contribute to a respectful, safe and supportive environment for myself and others.
I understand that inappropriate or unsafe behaviour may result in being asked to leave.

11. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, I release and discharge:

Kelly Flack, its facilitators, assistants, volunteers, venue hosts, and all associated parties

from any liability for:

personal injury
emotional or energetic shifts
loss or damage to property
accidents or incidents occurring during the event or on the venue grounds
travel to or from the event
ongoing energetic effects after the event

unless caused by proven negligence.
I acknowledge that I am choosing to participate of my own free will.

12. Online Acceptance

By submitting my online registration, I confirm that:

I have read and understood this agreement
I am signing voluntarily
My submission serves as my acceptance of these terms
I understand this agreement is required to participate

13. Updates to This Agreement

I understand that this agreement may be updated from time to time to reflect improved safety practices, clearer communication, or changes in venue requirements.
The version available on the website at the time of my registration will apply to my participation in this immersion.
