We’ve all heard the saying “go with the flow,” but did you know that water does more than just flow? It holds memory, absorbs vibrations, and interacts with energy—especially our own. Since our bodies are made up of roughly 70% water, understanding water's energetic properties can be a powerful tool in your personal healing journey.
Water is deeply responsive to energy and emotion. Dr. Masaru Emoto's groundbreaking research demonstrated how water molecules physically change shape depending on the words, thoughts, and emotions directed at them. Loving, high-vibrational words create beautiful, symmetrical crystalline structures in frozen water, while harsh or negative words produce distorted, chaotic patterns.
Because our own bodies are largely composed of water, we can begin to understand how our words—both spoken and unspoken—affect us on a cellular level. This is why speaking kindly to yourself and your body isn't just good advice; it’s energetic medicine.
In the video, I share a simple yet potent ritual known as “Words to Water.” This process invites you to use water as a vessel for energetic release:
Fill a tall glass with water.
Choose clean, fresh water and set the intention that it will hold what needs to be released.
Speak to the water.
Say all the things you’ve been holding inside—your anger, sadness, frustration, resentment. Talk to the water like a trusted friend. Let it all out. Allow your voice to carry your energy into the water. Cry, yell, whisper… whatever you need. This part only needs to take a minute or two—enough to release without dwelling in the heaviness.
Pour the water outside.
Once you’ve expressed everything, take the water outside and pour it into the earth. This symbolic act helps you release those lower vibrations from your energy field. Do not drink the water—it has served its purpose and is now ready to be returned and transmuted by nature.
This energetic practice supports emotional health, mental clarity, and vibrational realignment. Speaking your truth, even to water, creates energetic movement within your body. When you physically release the water, you're also giving your energy field permission to let go.
By practicing this regularly—especially during intense emotional times—you support the body’s natural flow, reduce energetic stagnation, and make space for more peace, balance, and clarity.
